Still stuck?
Not every comms problem or opportunity comes with a neat label - and not every problem or opportunity is neatly labeled as something that can be tackled with great comms. You don't need to have it figured out before you get in touch. We can work that out together.
Relax, Iâve done
this before.
Iâm Stu Oldham.
I bring more than two decades in journalism, newsroom leadership, education and communications to do.tell. I've worked in and led both sides of the media relationship, and I know what it takes when the issues are complex, the scrutiny is intense and the stakes are high.
I advise leaders, develop strategies, manage reputational risks and lead communications for major projects and organisational change. I work with communities and stakeholders, help organisations explain complicated issues and build the communications capability they need to do their work well.
I know good communications aren't always about making more noise. Sometimes the most useful thing I can do is ask a better question, spot a problem before it grows or recommend a different approach altogether.
And when the thinking's done, I have the practical skills to deliver the work.
Working with you.
You might need help with a project, a situation or a few months of change. You might want someone to lead your communications without employing them full-time, maybe you need some good advice at the right time.
Comms is nuanced, and not always just about comms. That means thereâs no standard do.tell package. We work out what you need, how I can help and what makes sense for you.
Getting started is simple. Tell me what's going on and we'll have a free, no-obligation chat. If I can help, I'll explain what I'd recommend. Iâll even shout the coffee.
